In 1992, international investment manager Sir John Templeton retired from the world of business and now devotes his time to philanthropic work through the John Templeton Foundation. For 25 years he has funded the Templeton Prize for Progress in Religion given to an outstanding individual who has made contributions in spiritual progress. He is the author or editor of numerous books, including Discovering the Laws of Inner Life, Is God the Only Reality?, Worldwide Laws of Life, Evidence of Purpose, and the Humble Approach.
