- Randy Hebert "I first heard "Lead the Field" in 1980 when I was a young lieutenant in the Marine Corps. I was dissatisfied with where I was and my potential for growth. After I listened to "Lead the Field" I realized I needed to change my perspective -- instead of waiting for someone to tap me on the shoulder and offer an opportunity, I looked around and found a worthy goal. In 1984 I was assigned as an Electrical Engineering Instructor at the US Naval Academy.
